Biography

The Graywolf Blues Band is a Native American Blues Band formed in 2006 at the suggestion of Micki Free, the former guitarist for Prince. The Graywolf Blues Band, founded by Gray Wolf, Alfred 'Panther' Mazza and Andreas Gobor, was nominated for five Native American Music Awards in 2008, winning in 2009 for their original hit “Dancing In The Rain”. The Graywolf Blues Band is a high energy revue filled with a unique mixture of original songs and recognizable standards.

Graywolf (Lead Guitar) is Yoem (Yaqui) from Tuscon Arizona. Graywolf received his first guitar at the age of 15 and formed his first band at the age of 16. Graywolf performed with Art Laboe’s “Oldies But Goodies Show”, West Coast Motown, The Coasters, The Drifters, Micki Free and toured with Irene Bedard (Disney’s Pocahontas) and Deni’s ID Band.
   
Dan Brinkley Dan Brinkley (Lead Vocals, Blues Harmonica) Dan, whose parents were both actors, got into music through his Dad, John Brinkley, who was also a musician.  Dan began playing the Harmonica when he was 17 on a roof in Mexico.  He worked with several Bands during his musical career as a blues singer and harmonica player, the latest of them being "Nixon Jonsers". The Graywolf Blues Band is currently his foremost creative outlet.
   
Ellen "Ellie" Totleben (Lead Vocals) Ellie hails from Chicago, where she grew up hearing the Blues. She's been singing since she could talk, and she's still going!  Classically trained, Ellie has performed in many different groups in many different genres.  She sang in a women's trio and had a lounge act in the cabaret circuit in NYC. Currently she sings in a women's a capella quartet, a women's Barber Shop chorus,  is the lead singer in a Chicago Tribute rock band and sings in a classical caroling group. While she loves  to sing any style, her first love is jazz & blues.

John RedcornJonathan Joss (Lead Vocals) / John Redcorn Experience  Jonathan is an accomplished actor and - among many other roles - he is the voice of John Redcorn in the Show 'King of the Hill'. He has joined forces with the legendary Graywolf Blues Band to present some awesome blues music and a taste of John Redcorn!

Bobby 'Ace' Campbell (Bass Guitar, Vocals) Bobby was put into music class because he was kicked out of choir. This gave Bobby the chance to learn everything from percussion to trombone. He bought his first electric bass guitar and formed his own rock band “Raw Thunder”. Bobby started playing in Zacharia, The Guttersnipes, Einstein, Nikki Z and many others.
   
Andreas Gobor (Drums) Andreas began playing drums at the age of eight. At the age of 15 Andreas started recording and touring Europe with a variety of acts. At Hartman Digital Studio Andreas studied songwriting, sound engineering and producing under Robert Bachinger at the Media Art Group, working with Chris Rea, John Golden (bass player for Meatloaf), The True Beings, Sade, and many more.

Alfred “Panther” Mazza (Vocals/Percussion)  Panther is Eastern Cherokee/Muskogee. Panther has appeared nationally with Grammy Award winner Micki Free. Panther also performed with Irene Bedard and Deni’s ID Band opening for Foreigner in 2006 at the Creek Nation of Oklahoma. As an accomplished actor Alfred appeared on the New York stage in several productions including the original production of the musical “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” in the title role. Alfred can be seen in the original film, “The Out-Of-Towners” with Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis.

Ollie Rasbury (Lead Vocals) Ollie presented a rare versatility in vocal style, ranging from Minnie Ripperton to Pattie La Belle. Classically trained, Ollie could successfully adapt to any element of music. Ollie has shared her talent with such names as Phyllis Hyman, Della Reese, Tony Terry and upcoming artist Kim Yarbrough to name a few.  Ollie Rasbury passed away on October 11, 2012. She and her songs will live on in our hearts forever.
   

The famous actress Irene Bedard (likeness and voice of Disney's "Pocahontas" - in the picture with Gray Wolf) is a good friend of Gray Wolf and plans are in the making to go on tour together with a show featuring the Graywolf Blues Band, John Redcorn Experience, and Irene Bedard with a connecting  Native American Theme.
